Weddings...

Well, I think that I've finally recovered from a very busy weekend... but then again, who hasn't? Mine probably beats yours out though... Sarah and I headed back up north to Sioux City, IA for a couple weddings, two to be precise. We left on Thursday because there was one on Friday and then another on Saturday. Sarah was the personal attended of the Bride for the first wedding and really didn't want to get up early and drive into town on Friday morning. Ironic thing, we didn't get into Sioux City until Friday morning. Let me explain, Sarah worked on Thursday at the hospital, which is the 7a-7p shift. She got home about 7:30 and we were packed and ready to go at 8:30. It's a four hour trip, so we didn't get back into town until around 1a, this is because we stopped for a dinner and desert along the way.

The weddings... well, all I am going to say is I wish them the best. I know that for both couples it has been a long road to get where they are. I've had my doubts, but out of respect for them, I am not going to go into detail. Like I said, I simply wish them both the best.

Today... I hurt... really bad. I decided to go back to the climbing wall for the first time in over five months. My arms are killing me. On top of that, I decided to get on the track and run 1.2 miles nonstop. Now for those of you who don't know me, I used to run almost every morning during the summer months at 5a. I put myself on a marathon training program in hopes of running a local on, but fell off of it. When I quite training I could run about 6 miles nonstop. That goes to show just how out of shape I've become. I also worked my abs, shoulders, and legs a little bit on some of the work-out machines. I know that I'll never get to where I was with training, but I was much healthier back then. I weighed myself at my parents house over the weekend and saw that I'd gained 17 pounds since I've gotten married a little over 6 months ago. I need to get back in shape. We'll see how it goes. I plan on going back tomorrow and working out again, the wall will be closed, but I'll be able to do other things. Might need to get new running shoes though. Mine took some skin clean off the side of my ankle. Which when added to the pain of sore muscles... just makes things worse.

Anyways, it's been fun, but I should get going. I'm so tired that I am watching a show on the history channel about shipping crates and I really don't care. So... I'll try and keep up with this blog. I've got a little bit more time now that I am on break than I did during last semester. On the brighter side though, my gpa for the semester was a 3.75, and my overall gpa went from 3.13 to a 3.2. I am happy. Anyhoo, night folks.
