Discharging A Firearm

Today was a pretty good day. Ryan, a buddy of mine and I went to shooting range (Kaw Valley Gun Club) where he let me fire his .40 caliber Glocks and his .45ACP Israeli made pistol. First time I've ever shot a firearm before. It is amazing how much force is exerted from such a small source of power. I was looking at the back of the box, and from something like 800 yards the bullet hits with about 320 pounds of force. Take it my accuracy isn't the best, I still hit the target and had a few "Kill" shots. Right now I am working on Sarah to let me purchase a pistol of my own. In due time though, I'll be the recipient of a hand-me down German Lugar, and 6-shot revolver. I just want one now. I guess until I get those two pistols I'll have to use one of Ryan's, who won't sell me any of his...
