Home for the Weekend

Sarah and I are heading home for this weekend. We've got a wedding to attend on Saturday and then we've got a post wedding reception on Sunday for another couple from Elk Point, IA. I know I have that huge paper to write, I did a lot of work on it yesterday reaching page 10, I am essentially 1/3 of the way done, which is better than nothing. I talked to a few other people in the class and that haven't done anything yet. I should get the results back from my Human Resources Management class tomorrow, which will be nice... I hate anticipation leading up to receiving test scores.

Work is going good. In time, Farm Bureau will be one of the more advanced insurance systems out there... of course, which wouldn't happen without my help :) I had a farm conversion the other day, about 2000 acres of land and 18 vehicles, which all had to be manually inputted into the system; it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be either. The files alone for those policies for the farm were about 7 inches thick, now the farmer will only need one policy for all of it... I thought I would get sick of doing this stuff, but every policy is a new policy, they are all different. Something that may be of interest to some of you people out there, my boss approached me the other day in "my office" (yea, I have my own office, with a computer, window, ceiling fan, and door) and told me that he wanted me to become licensed in Life/Casualty, which means that if any of you buggers need insurance, come and see me after Christmas break.

Anyhoo, the test I had today didn't seem so bad, a few questions were pretty tricky but I think that I figured most of them out. I was up pretty late studying though and got up early this morning to study some more, I am exhausted and I am going to go to bed. I'll catch you all laterz.
