On Friday a group of us went to After Hours, which is an alumni event that paying member of the student body can get into for free. There is free beer and wine for as long as it lasts. We had a great time. I met up with some people that I haven't seen in about two years. Afterwards we went to On the Border where our friends new the bar tender. We got pretty good deals on our drinks, that is for sure.

After that we went to the Booby Trap. The place is a whole in the wall, but I knew the person who was going to be in the next group up. I met some interesting characters there including the girl who belched in my ear, made me try some of her tomato beer, thought I was a baby (I'm 22, 23 in May; She is 23, 24 my March), Told me her croch was vibrating when someone called her, etc... I knew this gals life story by the time her ex-boyfriend came who brought her to Topeka in the first place. wow... You may as where was Sarah, your wife during all this. We'll she was in the seat directly to my right... She isn't a fan of "heavy metal" and left with our mutual friend to go to her friends birthday party elsewhere. At this time, the band hadn't played yet, but I had a ride if I wanted. So, I stayed and took advantage of my ride. It was a good time, the band kicked butt.

My parents came down on Saturday and stayed through Sunday. We went to the girls game on Saturday where they went into overtime and beat the opposing team by only one point. For dinner we went to the Great Wall, which is an excellent Chinese joint next to campus. This morning we did church and breakfast/brunch. They headed out around 1.

Sarah had a few house visits today from the Birth and Women's Center so she ditched out on my shortly before my parents left. This gave me time to finish up some homework and whatnot before the big game. After she got back we contacted some friends and ended up having a little super bowl get together. We got back a little bit ago, but after a few beers, I am pretty tired. With that said, I'm going to head to bed. Night...
