Yet Another Job Potential

Life is ironic... That is all I have to say. About a week or so ago, I submitted a resume online to street corner, which is a store subsidiary of McColla Enterprises that sells over the counter meds, newspapers, pop, coffee, cigars. Just like a street corner store would do. It appeared as though they had a job opening in the franchising department. I'd travel a little bit (anywhere between Florida and California from the sounds of it) and try and sell this franchise. The company was founded and still operates its headquarters out of Topeka, KS, which is good for Sarah and I.

Classes started today. I was in Marketing management. We had a speaker. Who else was it than the creative mind that started Street Corner (McColla Enterprises). He spoke to the class briefly and then talked about their plans for expansion. They're planning on going way outside of its boundaries. I am not going to say anything about this, or any other projects that they have slatted because I don't want to compromise anything that they've worked on thus far. All I know are the basics, but one of the ideas is simply brilliant. In fact it isn't even an idea anymore, they have it, they just need a market and a way to promote/sell it.

I had to shake hands with this guy. I told him that I had submitted my resume to his company a week earlier and said that I though that he had a brilliant idea and that I'd be more than interested in helping this project get up and off the ground. I honestly think that this thing could be successful, and I'd promote to anyone.

Like always, I'll keep you all updated on this whole thing. I'll go into more detail on this stuff only when I know that I wouldn't potentially compromise anything. Catch you all later... I am pumped up and going to down a beer, watch a little tv, and then go to bed.
