Classes start this week
Well, yet another semester starts up this week. That last semester in a chapter of my life that will hopefully have many chapters to come. I am looking forward to graduating from Washburn, but it's scary because I don't know what I am going to do afterwards. The default is of course to go out and get a job and work. Which I plan to do, but I just don't know what to do. I am applying for jobs and I hope that I will have a job upon graduation. There are a lot of companies out there that are going to the "independent contractor" route, which is nice and all, but doesn't offer any kind of benefits, which is not so nice. I have two job offers as of right now that would classify me as an independent contractor, but being young and married, we need those health/med benefits. I've had minimal correspondents with a company named xceltech. It is a business startup company that specializes in enterprise resource planning, enterprise performance management, software quality assurance, application development and design, and data warehouse and design. That's a lot of stuff. This is basically the few select things that I have enjoyed learning about throughout my four years at college. We'll see where I start the next chapter after I graduate, and you betchya that I'll keep you all updated in the job hunt category and everything else. Catch you all later.
