Nothing Pisses Me Off More...

Before I get to what is "pissing" me off, I'll let everyone know that the footboard for the bed (the 3rd one) from the Neb. Fur. Mart is finally in acceptable condition and I am happy with that. I didn't even get to sleep in this morning because they were delivering between 8 and 10. They got here about 10... but it's all good, everything is better now.

The little shit Max has been a pain in the butt lately, he's getting into things he shouldn't be, and nearly suffocated today in a plastic sack, you know, just an all around a dumb cat...

Anyhoo, to what pissed me off. On Friday in Human Resources Management we were discussing the aftermath of the Hurricane in the southern states. One of my good friends and I were discussing it previously over breakfast and he had a very good point. He said that in 10-15 years they will be building the most modern city in the United States down in the New Orleans area (almost an equivalent to modern day Tokyo) , of course they would be leaving some areas flooded and unsalvageable, and I agreed with him. I mentioned this in the H.R. Management class and people agreed, that will probably happen, just give it time. Then some moron had to say this.... and I quote, "You know, with all the homeless down their and so forth, wiping them all out will be good for our economy." Ugh... are you dumb? Should you be receiving a college education? How inconsiderate can a person be and how can the deaths of a thousand or so prove to be “good” for our economy? I mean, those are peoples Mothers, Fathers, children, Aunts and Uncles, they may be living in poverty, but they are still people. I restrained myself from saying anything to him about this, but the rest of the class had plenty of things to say in response to this guys out right stupid statement.
