The Washing Machine

Goody, the washing machine isn't broken after all... The repair man just left and I realized that I was just a paranoid consumer. The clothes washer would do what it does and when it drains the tub the pump makes a noise that sounds as if the agitator is spinning, when I would open it up, it wouldn't be doing anything; then when I would close it the agitator would start spinning. Turns out that the sound I was hearing was the pump and it is completely normal, it drains the water out instead of spinning it out. Damn, I am a moron, but today was a learning lesson, the tech man from KC was very nice and explained the whole thing to me...
