Evy

I've been meaning to update you all on the condition of Sarah's Grandma Evy. On Friday I got home to a phone call, Sarah was going to the hospital because her Grandma had been taken to the ER. Diagnosis: Dehydration and bacterial infection.

Saturday: I made a visit with Sarah to the hospital, Evy was awake and alert, and looked fine. I asked her how she was doing while Sarah was out briefly, her comment was, "This isn't fun Mike." Thinking about that, I know that she meant two things, growing old, and being in the hospital. Sarah and family had a birthday party at the hospital to celebrate the 2nd birthday of Evy's grandchild Kya.

Sunday: I traveled back to school. Talked to Sarah in late evening. Evy was still doing alright.

Monday: Condition Good.

Tuesday (today): Evy's condition is still okay, from what I know. They did however, have to place a feeding tube, she can no longer ingest food. As far as I know, she is still alert and knows what is going on. From the looks of it, Evy's life will soon come to an end...

Once again, prayers are appreciated, not just from my standpoint, but Sarah and her family would appreciate them too. I'll keep everyone posted.
